Consumer Kashrut Alerts

The following kashruth advisory was from the Rabbinical Council of New England on April 23, 2001. .

Corn Flakes and Honey Crunch Corn Flakes manufactured by Kellogg's, will now be produced on dairy equipment in some of their plants; therefore, all Corn Flakes and Honey Crunch Corn Flakes must be treated as if they are produced on dairy equipment as all packaging will have KD on it.
Corn Flake Crumbs and Low Sodium Corn Flakes are not affected and remain pareve.

The following additonal information was from the Star-K Keeping You Kurrent May, 2001.
Those Kellogg's Corn Flakes coded KLA, KLB or KLC on the top of the box are produced in Lancaster and remain Pareve.
