The following kashrus alert is from Star-K Keeping You Kurrent November, 2003.

For the next few weeks Dole Value Added Salads will be removing the Star-K from all its Value Added Salads except for the Cole Slaw and Classic Iceberg varieties. This decision, on the part of Dole, is due to increased end of season infestation. The Star-K will begin reappearing after this time. Products purchased without the Star-K symbol must be checked before using.
