The following kashrus advisory is from the Kof-K on November 18, 2004.

In response to consumer inquiries we would like to clarify that only Carvel stores displaying a current certificate from the Kof-K indicating that the specific store is certified should be considered certified by the Kof-K. There is no way we can guarantee where a store is getting ingredients from, unless the specific store is under our supervision and inspection.
