The following kashrus alert is from the OV on April 20, 2005.

Some bags of romaine lettuce have recently been found to have infestation. As a result and UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, the OV will no longer appear on any brand names of this product (romaine lettuce). All bags of romaine lettuce still bearing the OV symbol must be checked for bugs before use.
