Star-D certifies two Rita's Italian Ices stores in the Maryland area (11700 Reisterstown Rd, Baltimore, MD and 15430-C Old Columbia Pike, Burtonsville, MD ). Rita's stores have flavors that contain dairy ingredients and flavors that do not contain dairy ingredients. Customers should be aware that those flavors that do not include a dairy ingredient may, in fact, not be considered pareve, due to the fact that utensils may be shared between dairy and non-dairy flavors."
