The following South African kashrus alert is from the UOS on June 18, 2007 .

Due to the introduction of non-kosher products, Pecks and Redro Fish Pastes will no longer be kosher certified. The Beth Din sign will no longer appear on these products. Pecks and Redro Fish Pastes which still bear the Beth Din sign ARE STILL kosher. Woolworths Fish Paste continues to be made under supervision and is kosher when bearing the Beth Din sign. Consumers are advised to check all labels carefully.
