The following South African kashrus notice is from the Beth Din of Johannesburg on September 7, 2007.

A vicious rumour is being spread by an ex-employee of Shirleys Norwood that the store is undergoing an investigation by the Beth Din and is no longer kosher. This is blatantly false. Shirleys Norwood is and has always been under Beth Din supervision and conforms to the highest levels of kashrut as required by the Beth Din.
