Rabbi Eidltz has reported that Menchies Frozen Yogurt in Valley Village, CA, is not kosher supervised and is open on Shabbos. The KIB does not recommend this nor any such store as a kosher store: This store is not a franchise and is not bound by any rules or laws to stick with a kosher mix. The store is making a claim only that they are using a kosher mix; Halachicly and logically one cannot rely on such a claim in such a situation.
