The following kashrus alert is from the KOAOA (Half-Moon K) on December 21,2007.

KOAOA certification of Waleed's Foods humus products (sold primarily in Southern California) has been removed due to kashrus concerns. KOAOA no longer certifies any Waleed's products, and does not recommend using any product even with our kosher symbol on the label. Consumers finding Waleed's products with the Half-Moon K symbol are requested to contact KOAOA at ko@kosher.org.
