Sambucol is an elderberry concentrate/lozenge typically sold in health food stores or pharmacies to boost the immune system during cold and flu season. It was originally developed by an Israeli scientist. Some formulas of Sambucol previously made in Israel under supervision are now being made in France, apparently w/o kashruth supervision. There is a similar products called Sambucus underwhich is sold at elsewhere under supervision .
