The following South African kashrus alert is from the UOS on January 12, 2008.
Eitan Vaal have requested that we inform the public that due to problems that they have encountered, all their vegetables should be checked and/or cleaned in exactly the same manner as regular vegetables, until further notice.

The following South African kashrus alert is from the UOS on January 10, 2008.
Eitan Vaal celery and spinach have been found to contain leaf-miner and should therefore not be used with immediate effect, until further notice. Other Eitan Vaal products remain insect free - once rinsed.
