The following kashrus alert was from the Houston Kashruth Assn. on July 23, 2008

Super Pita (9806 Hillcroft, Houston, TX 713-723-6400) has opened a meat restaurant adjacent to the existing bakery. The bakery products produced at the bakery remain pareve. As of this writing, all other products prepared by Super Pita are either meat or have been produced on meat equipment:

• All items containing meat are meat
• The salads are prepared on meat equipment
• French Fries are to be treated as meat
• Falafel should be considered meat equipment
