The following health alert is from the FDA on April 30, 2009 .
Klein’s Naturals, Brooklyn, NY, is voluntarily recalling various pistachio products as a precautionary measure because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. This recall action is being taken due to the expanded recall activities for the 2008 crop of In-Shell Pistachios distributed by Setton Pistachio of Terra Bella, Inc. in Terra Bella, California. The recalled products were distributed nationwide through retail stores and wholesale customers.
