The following Israeli kashrus alert is from the Israeli Chief Rabbinate on December 20, 2011.
#4: Many (Israeli) olive oils with unauthorized hechshers. The national Rabbanut hechsher should be accepted on olive oil only if accompanied by a hologram. (See picture). "Tevel" olive oil claims "badatz beit yosef"; "maayan hashemen" oil claims "chug chasam sofer bnai brak"; "katit me'ulah, Galilee press", by "badatz yore deah" -- all of these are bogus.
The following kashrus alert is from the Israeli Chief Rabbinate and translated by Jerusalem Kosher News on November 16, 2010.
