Consumer Kashrut Alerts

The following kashrus alert is from Mehadrin Kashrus on June 14, 2011.

New York Beef, producer of organic beef in Poughkeepsie NY, displayed a forged certificate from Mehadrin Kashrus in NYC at their stall in Union Square farmers market in NYC. At no time have they produced product under out supervision. The New York State Kosher Law Enforcement department and the Greenmarket management are trying to resolve the issue.
