A consumer spotted the lettering in Hebrew beis Yosef Scheta on some pork products at Associated Supermarket, Sunnyside, NY. The store explained that this was a mistake in use of a new labeling machine.
Ed. note: This should be a warning to consumers to check the product and not just look at symbols or lettering on a label. Also check the searchable database of alerts at www.kashrut.com/Alerts.
