The following South African kashrus alert is from the Beth Din of Johannesburg on November 28, 2012.

Kraft Foods have discontinued local production of biscuits and will begin importing some varieties, including Oreos, from Saudi Arabia. These are not kosher certified.
Affected products are: Oreos (all varieties), Luvbites (all varieties), Chips Ahoy (all varieties), Crackermates (all varieties), Riviera (all varieties).
Existing kosher stock is expected to be on shelves until mid-2013. Please check country of origin carefully. Only those manufactured in South Africa are kosher certified.
