The following health alert is from the CFIA on June 12, 2014.
The food recall warning issued on June 11, 2014 has been updated to include additional product information. This additional information was identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) food safety investigation. Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. is recalling Madegood brand Chia and Berries Fruit & Nut Bars from the marketplace due to possible Salmonella contamination. Consumers should not consume the recalled products described below.
