Consumer Kashrut Alerts

The following South African kashrus alert is from the Beth Din of Johannesburg on Jaly 8, 2014.

The Allergen Baker bread mixes and baking requisites is no longer kosher certified. The Beth Din logo has been removed. Old stock bearing the Beth Din logo may still be used. The Allergen Baker’s statement on the label that they manufacture “according to kosher principles” is NOT acceptable to the Beth Din.
