The following Canadian yoshon information is from the COR on October 14, 2014.

The Yoshon cutoff dates for the following products are as follows:

Robin Hood and Five Roses Flours

¹These numbers or lower are yoshon. Isolate the plant code from the full code that is printed on the bag and then find the year and date codes.

Flour - (COR 142) - code of 4279 7 or lower.

Flour - (COR 285) including No Name- Regular and Whole Wheat - are still yoshon. Organic – Best Before code of 2015 OC 5 or earlier. Whole Wheat - BB code of 2015 AP 5 or earlier.

Great Plains, P&H, and Compliments (Metro) Brands Flour – If the number after PH in the code is ‘7’ a BB date of 2015 OC 6 or earlier. If it is ‘2’ it is still yoshon. Alternative coding; 4 279 7 or lower, x xxx 2 is still yoshon.

Bakers Hood, Creative Bakers, Sunspun  (COR323) - For plant code ‘MT’ a date code of (1)4 250 or lower, for ‘SK’ a date code of (1)4 271 or lower.

Robin Hood - Old Mill Oats – code of (1)4 279 or lower.

Quaker Oats (COR 112)

Any product that contains oats - date code of 0826P4 or earlier.

Costco Pack – last four digits of the Best Before coding of 4252 or lower (ignore the other codes, i.e. 2015 AU 08  4BI09H  4252).

Oat Bran cereal – still yoshon.

Wheat Bran, A.J. Pancake Mix – still yoshon

Muffets Shredded Wheat is always yoshon.

General Mills(mf’g in USA, for export to Canada only, OU certified)

Cheerios (excluding MultiGrain) – Still yoshon until end of October.

MultiGrain Cheerios - date code of 25AU 2015 or earlier is yoshon.

Nature Valley Granola bars - code of 29SE2015 or earlier are definitely yoshon (in variety packs you have to check the date on each bar, do not rely on the date printed on the exterior box). .

Fibre 1 cereal is always yoshon.

Weetabix

Weetabix reg. and org- still yoshon.

Alpen - Still yoshon.

Grain Shop High Fibre Crisp - - Still yoshon.

Presidents Choice (COR 123 or 1)

Fruity O’s - Still yoshon.

Toasted Oats O’s, Honey Nut Oats O’s- - Still yoshon.

Crunchy Maple Almond, Mixed Berry or Cranberry Almond - Not yet confirmed; a code of2015 SEP 18 or earlier is yoshon

Loads of Raisins Raisin Bran – still yoshon.

PC Blue Menu -Multigrain O’s - Still yoshon.

Fibre First, Fibre Plus Bran Flakes - still yoshon.

Special K - still yoshon (product has been reformulated and is now Dairy. Products that are not marked as dairy are indeed pareve).

Corn Pops and Froot Loops - best before date of 2015 AU 14 or earlier – not confirmed.

Just Right - best before date of 2015 AU 14 or earlier – not confirmed.

Muslix (all types) - best before date of 2015 AU 14 or earlier.

Bran Buds – still yoshon.

Post Cereals (COR 114)

Shredded Wheat, Spoon Size Shredded Wheat - Regular, Honey Toasted, Cinnamon and Wheat ‘n Bran, Light Wheat Squares and Triscuit Crackers (all types) are always yoshon.

Shreddies - Regular, Honey, and Maple Crunch, Dark Wheat Squares and 100% Bran- still yoshon.

Cranberry Almond and Cherry Almond Crunch, Blueberry Pomegranate Ancient Grains and Nut Medley - Not yet confirmed. Any code of2015 AU 17 or earlier is yoshon

Barley – product in stores will start to change shortly.

Kosher City –flour, barley repacked by Kosher City is yoshon.

Kolbo - has yoshon barley and flour.

NuPak Barley -code of 4272 or lower is still yoshon.

Quik Kook Barley -code of 4748 or lower is still yoshon.

Pasta

Primo (COR 78) – still yoshon (until Dec).

Italpasta (COR136) – still yoshon – will change the week of Oct 27.

All other pasta with a COR 136 –same code as Italpasta

Unico - same coding as for Primo.

Ronzoni (Catelli & Lancia) (COR 235)-All pasta is still yoshon.

Grisspasta – still yoshon – will change the week of Oct 27.

Ferenez (Mama)‘MK’ - products will remain yoshon.

Maison Egg Noodles (MK) – still yoshon.

Pita Bros - will remain Yoshon.

Wraps (COR 722) – are still yoshon.
