The following kashrus alert is from Vaad of Flatbush on December 1, 2015.

The Vaad Hakashrus of Flatbush wishes to inform the members of our community that effective 27 Kislev 5776/December 9th, 2015 a certification change will take place at Mount Sinai/Beth Israel Medical Center , located at 3201 Kings Highway Brooklyn, NY. MS/BIMC will offer Kosher meals for its patients prepared under the hashgacha of the OU from a separate Kosher menu. The employee cafeteria as well will offer Kosher pre-packed hot meals, Kosher pre-packed cold meals and snacks from a separate Kosher menu. MS/BIMC is currently working on the installation of a Kosher vending machine in the very near future.
