January 27, 2016 - COR Detroit: TEAVANA TEAS: Most Teavana teas are not Kosher certified at this time. Therefore, only the plain unflavored varieties, without flavoring, fruit, berries, or other ingredients, are acceptable without certification. Prepared hot tea should not be purchased at Teavana stores, even of plain unflavored varieties, due to possible brewing equipment issues. At Starbucks stores, however, hot tea is made with a tea bag placed directly in the customer’s cup, and so, the following three unflavored Teavana varieties may be purchased in a disposable cup: Emperor's Cloud and Mist Green Tea, Mint Majesty Herbal Tea, and Royal English Breakfast Brewed Tea.
