Frozen desserts recalled for Salmonella risk in powdered milk

"Giant and Martin’s grocery stores are recalling Simply Enjoy brand frozen desserts because they could be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria from powdered milk made by Valley Milk Products LLC."
"The recall of Simply Enjoy brand frozen mini eclairs and creme puffs produced by Poppies International Inc., which does business as Delizza Inc., is the latest in a series of secondary recalls in recent days that have cited powdered milk ingredients from Valley Milk as the problem."
"Because the Simply Enjoy eclairs and creme puffs are frozen and have best-by dates more than a year away, consumers are urged to check to see if they have the recalled products in their homes."
Consumers can identify the recalled products by looking for the following label information:

• Simply Enjoy dark chocolate-topped mini eclairs in 14.8-ounce containers with the UPC number 68826712411, best-by date of March 1, 2018, and lot number L1K3616 or L1L3616;
• Simply Enjoy dark chocolate-topped mini eclairs in 14.8-ounce containers with the UPC number 68826712411, best-by date of March 2, 2018, and lot numberL1M3616;
• Simply Enjoy milk chocolate dipped creme puffs in 14.1-ounce packages with the UPC number 68826712410, a best-by date of March 29, 2018, and lot number L1J4016 or L1K4016.
