March 31, 2017: from FARE:
"Dunkin’ Brands, Inc., the parent of the franchisor of Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins restaurants, would like our guests to be aware that beginning in April 2017 through July 2017, some sheet & roll cakes in select markets will contain walnuts as an ingredient. (Round cakes are not impacted.) This is a result of a supplier report that traces of walnuts were mixed in with a limited production run of their cakes. We are issuing this Ingredient Notice out of an abundance of caution as we previously labeled the cakes with a "may contain" Tree-nut (walnut) statement but felt it was in consumer’s best interest to be informed of the change. The updated labels list that the cakes "contain" walnuts in both the ingredient and allergen statements."
"As always, Dunkin’ Brands encourages our guests to speak to their local Franchisee to review a list of ingredient and allergen information for all the cake components they are ordering."
Guests with questions should contact the Dunkin’ Brands Consumer Care line at 1-800-859-5339."
