Chadosh information on GOLD MEDAL BREAD FLOUR and GOLD MEDAL ALL PUROSE FLOUR from the KC mill

GOLD MEDAL BREAD FLOUR and GOLD MEDAL ALL PUROSE FLOUR from the KC mill, in all sizes of bags, are both made from winter wheat and are always Yoshon. [This is an update to the information in Rabbi Herman’s Guide to Chodosh.] The KC mill is indicated by the letters KC after the year in the second line of the code on top of the bag. [For those makpid on malt, the cut-off date code is 25 JUN 2020.] Gold Medal Whole Wheat Flour, even from KC mill, is Yoshon only if the date code is prior to 1 FEB 2019.
