Please be advised that the following Star-D dairy products manufactured by Nature's Eats of Boerne, Texas, and sold in H-E-B grocery stores in Texas, contain dairy non-cholov Yisroel ingredients when the allergen label statement indicates milk content. Various batches were inadvertently labeled with a Star-K symbol. Corrective action is being taken.

Reed's Culture Club Cabernet Grape Kombucha, Reed's Los Angeles CA: A production of Reed’s Cabernet Grape Kombucha was made using a non-kosher ingredient. Although affected product was withdrawn, a small amount may have reached the market place. The affected product bears the “Best By Date” of Jan. 9, 2016. All other product is OU certified WHEN BEARING THE OU SYMBOL.

Homestat Farm Recalls Organic Steel Cut Oats & Chia With Flax And Rye Flakes Because Of Possible Health Risk

Homestat Farm of Dublin, OH is recalling some of its 42-ounce packages only of "Organic Steel Cut Oats & Chia with Flax And Rye Flakes" because the flax seed ingredient has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
The recalled "Organic Steel Cut Oats & Chia with Flax And Rye Flakes" was distributed on a limited basis in Sams Club retail stores located in AK, CA, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MD, MI, MN, MS, NC, NH, OH, PA & TX.
The product comes in a 42 ounce carton UPC 8 35882 00620 4 marked with Best Buy: 03/16/17-1, 03/16/18-1, 03/19/17-1, 03/19/17-2, 03/23/17-1, 03/23/17-2, 03/24/17-1, 03/26/17-1, 03/26/17-2, 04/08/17-2. The best buy date can be found embossed on the bottom flap of box next to the bar code.
A supplier informed Homestat Farm of this after a contamination was found in flax seed provided to another customer.
Consumers who have purchased these 42-ounce packages of "Organic Steel Cut Oats & Chia with Flax And Rye Flakes" should return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 1-800-819-3918 M-F 10AM-4PM.

The following egg allergy alert is from the FDA on November 4, 2015.

Kozy Shack Enterprises LLC is recalling one lot of Kozy Shack® Indulgent Recipe™ Pudding in a Salted Caramel cardboard sleeve because it may contain Vanilla Bean Pudding cups, which contain egg. The Salted Caramel cardboard sleeve does not include egg in the ingredient statement.
The recalled product was distributed through retail stores in the following states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Idaho, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Nevada, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Utah, Virginia and Washington.
The product was sold at the following stores: Albertsons; Bashas/Western Produce; Bozzutos, Inc.; C&S Tops WNY WHS Lancaster; C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc.; C&S AWI; C&S AWI Robesonia;, C&S S&S Freetown; Delhaize America Distribution; Delhaize America Schodack-Dairy; General Dairy Deli, Inc.; Greensboro Perishable Facility; Harris Teeter, Inc.; Ingles Markets, Inc.; Kroger FRYS; Kroger Smith, Ralph's Grocery Co., Demoulas Markets, Meijer, Inc., Merchants Distributors, Inc., Raleys Distribution Center; SaveMart Supermarkets; Safeway NASC, Save Mart Supermarkets, Sherwood Food Distributors, Slater Bros, Spartan Nash; Supervalu, Inc., Target; Wakefern Food Corp, Wal-Mart; Wegman's Food Markets, Inc., Weis Markets, and Winco Holdings, Inc.
The product is sold as four individual cups with a cardboard sleeve wrapped around the four cups. The sleeve will be labeled as Kozy Shack® Indulgent Recipe™ Salted Caramel Pudding. The four cups in the package could contain Kozy Shack® Indulgent Recipe™ Vanilla Bean Pudding.
Affected product contains a Salted Caramel cardboard sleeve wrap with a Use By Date of 11/30/2015. Consumers can also look for the UPC code on the cardboard sleeve. If consumers have removed the pudding cups from the cardboard sleeve, they can look for the lot number on the individual pudding cups.

Consumers who have purchased this product can return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Kozy Shack will work with stores to retrieve the product.

Cow & Gate is taking the precautionary measure of recalling one batch of Cow & Gate Sunny Start My First Banana Muesli from 10 months with a best before date of 27/09/2016.
"The recall is in response to a small number of complaints regarding an insect found in the pack. As other packs in this batch may be affected, please do not feed My First Banana Muesli with this best before date to your baby.
Parents can get a refund by returning any packs with the affected best before date to the store where purchased or by contacting our Cow & Gate Careline on 0800 977 4000 or email us. Please also contact our team at the Careline if you have any concerns or would like to speak to someone directly."

This product contains dairy ingredients as indicated in the ingredients statement. Some labels were printed with an OU symbol, without the D - Dairy designation. Corrective actions have been implemented.
