The Nutmeg Spice Company, Carne Assada Seasoning, Burgundy Wine Marinade, French Onion Dip Mix, and Saffron Rice Seasoning The Nutmeg Spice Company, Terryville CT has an unauthorized OU:
The Orthodox Union does not certify Carne Assada Seasoning, Burgundy Wine Marinade French Onion Dip Mix, and Saffron Rice Seasoning made by The Nutmeg Company. These products are labeled with an unauthorized OU symbol under several brand names, including brands of some kosher food stores and distributors. Every label with the unauthorized OU symbol states that the product is from The Nutmeg Company (and that statement typically appears on the back of the label). June 23, 2021 from the cRc:
Kronos makes Pas Yisroel pita and flat bread, and are accordingly marked cRc-PY (Pas Yisroel). We have learned that unfortunately there was a specific period of time (beginning in mid-March for several weeks) when some varieties of those products did not meet Pas Yisroel standards. The issue has been corrected and fresh products being sold at this time are Pas Yisroel when bearing the cRc-PY logo. If you have older products in your freezer, you can determine if they were from those problematic batches by checking the date codes, as follows:
The date code has 6 digits, of which the first two indicate the year, and the next 3 show the Julian day of the year. The last digit is an internal Kronos code. The problematic batches are those where (a) the first two digits (the year) is 21, (b) the next three digits (Julian day) are between 076 and 151, and (c) the final digit is a “2”. For example, a date code of 210762, 211002, or 211512 is from a batch that is not Pas Yisroel, but a code of 203252, 210752, 211003, or 211522 is Pas Yisroel when bearing the cRc-PY logo.

June 21, 2021 from the OU in response to the editor's question:
Love Grown Power o's Chocolate cereal are labeled OUD, but in fact, its true status, at the present time, is DE (Dairy Equipment).
What does DE mean? Parve products made with heat on dairy equipment may be eaten after meat, but not with meat.
Some kashrus agencies use a DE symbol, but the OU has chosen not to use a DE designation because it is felt it may be confusing to the kosher consumer. Also, to be a true DE product, the equipment must be properly cleaned of residue after dairy production, and that level of cleanliness is sometimes difficult to maintain and guarantee. Please note that it is possible that the manufacturer will reformulate this product and add a true dairy ingredient. You will not be able to know this, since the OUD kosher symbol will remain the same. We recommend that you call our office every 3 months to reconfirm the DE status of this product.June 18, 2021 from Kosher Miami:
Please be advised that due to a business decision by the owner, TLV Mediterranean Grill, located at 9561 Harding Avenue in Surfside, is no longer kosher certified by Kosher Miami, effective at 5:30 PM June 18. It is our understanding that they will be operating as a NON Kosher restaurant.
