Trappey’s canned Black Eye Peas Flavored with Slab Bacon, distributed by McCall Farms, bears an unauthorized STAR-K symbol. This product is not certified by STAR-K and is not kosher. Product was found at H-E-B, Tom Thumb and other grocery stores in the Southern U.S. The product is being recalled.

Israeli Allergy Alert - Barista Alpro Oat Drink with Added Vitamins

On some packages of the following product: AlproOat (barcode: 5411188127697) in 1 liter cartons, labeled with "Best Before" date 05/04/2021, a labeling error occurred in the Hebrew label on the back of the package, mislabeling it as an almond drink with added calcium.

The correct labeling is as labeled in English: Alpro Oat –Oat Drink", including an illustration of an oat stalk on the front of the package.

This product is perfectly safe for consumption. However, people with celiac or with known allergies to oats and to any of the other allergens listed in the allergen information label are urged not to consume this product.

Israeli Health Alert - Matam Chafetz Chaim All-Beef Salami

Upon inspection by the Food Service in the Jerusalem District Public Health Bureau, listeria monocytogenes bacteria were found in the following product, sold under the "Matam Chafetz Chaim" brand: All-Beef Salami (Spliced), 250 gram packages, manufacturing date 18.8.2020, expiration date 18.10.2020 (barcode: 7290002391050).

As a precaution, the Company has decided to recall from shelves the following product as well, sold under the "Matam Chafetz Chaim" brand: All-Beef Salami (A product sold on the wholesale market as a solid block with no weight indication)(barcode: 7290004939106), from all manufacturing dates from 6.8.2020 up to and including 18.8.2020, and from all expiration dates from 6.10.2020 up to and including 18.10.2020.

Consumers in possession of these products are urged not to consume them.

As precaution and out of our commitment toourclients, the Company is taking actions to recall the products from shelves, urges its customers not to consume them and encourages them to return them to the Company through its customer service centers at 026542737.

Goodie Girl Tribeca LLC Recalls Goodie Girl Magical Animal Crackers Due to Undeclared Wheat

Goodie Girl Tribeca LLC announced today it is voluntarily recalling 389 cases of a single date code of 7 oz. Goodie Girl Magical Animal Crackers, with a “best by” date of Jan 11, 21A3, after learning that the product may contain undeclared wheat ingredients.

This recall affects only 389 cases of the following product, which were distributed in retail stores nationwide:

Size; 7 Ounces
Best By Date; Jan 11, 2021
Distributed between 4/17/2020 – 5/7/2020

This recall does not apply to any other “best by” dates, sizes or varieties of Goodie Girl Tribeca LLC.

Product with this particular "best by" date was shipped and distributed by Goodie Girl Tribeca to its customers' warehouses located in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia, New Hampshire, California.

Kosher Alert Israeli Importer of Dr. Pepper - M.S.I. Manofim

September 10, 2020: From the OU:

Dr. Pepper (Cans), M.S.I. Manofim Importers, Ashdod Israel has an unauthorized Sticker with OU Symbol:
The Orthodox Union certifies Dr. Pepper cans only when the OU Symbol is embossed on the top of the can. An Israeli importer placed stickers with an unauthorized OU Symbol on cans of Dr. Pepper that are not certified by the Orthodox Union. Consumers should not rely on importers' stickers with an OU Symbol without independently verifying that the product is certified by the Orthodox Union. Corrective actions are being implemented.
