Please bear in mind that the manufacturer may choose in the future to reformulate these products and add dairy ingredients. As such, we recommend that consumers check regularly with our office to confirm the status of these items.

OK Kosher does not certify any San Miguel products except Alcaparras (Capers).

The Orthodox Union does not certify any Carian's Bistro chocolates. Some boxes bear an unauthorized OU Symbol. This product is sold through Amazon. Corrective actions are being implemented.

Ducktrap River of Maine of Belfast, Maine is announcing a voluntary recall of Herring Center Cuts in Wine Sauce identified with sell by date Jul 29, 2020 because these products contain undeclared milk due to an incorrect label.
The recalled product was distributed at various retail stores in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont and Virginia.
The recalled product is sold in a 12 ounce glass container with a sell by date of Jul 29, 2020 located on the lid of the jar. While the product in the containers is Herring Center Cuts in Cream Sauce, which contains milk, the containers were mistakenly labeled with the Herring Center Cuts in Wine Sauce labels. Ducktrap initiated the recall after discovering the labeling mistake. Subsequent investigation indicates that the issue is limited only to the specific lot identified above.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled product may return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 1-800-434-8727 Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8am – 4:30pm EST. No other Ducktrap River of Maine products are affected by this recall.

Manufacturer: Spumador, S.p.A., Refresco Italy, BU, Via alla Fonte 13,22071 Caslino al Piano (CO), Italy.
The public is urged not to consume said products. It should be stressed that except for products with this labeling, Nestea products are perfectly safe. The Company is checking the source of this fault.
Anyone who bought a bottle with this labeling is welcome to call our customer service center at 1-800-300-370 and receive compensation.

BELL PEPPERS FROM ISRAEL (red, yellow and orange) are beginning to appear in U.S. stores, and require taking of Terumos and Maaseros. They are being sold locally at Kroger, Walmart, Holiday Market and other stores. The brands include Sunset, Gilad, Pero Family Farms, and others, both regular and organic. Consumers should carefully check the fine print on the package, or the sticker on individual peppers sold loose, for the country of origin. Often the same brand has some peppers from Israel and some from other locations, so each individual package or pepper should be checked.

December 5, 2019 - From the COR Detroit: Some additional examples of Israeli produce commonly found in the U.S. include tomatoes, carrots, citrus fruit (oranges, grapefruit, lemons, mandarins, clementines and pomelos), persimmons ("Sharon Fruit"), mangos, dates, dill and parsley. Check the sticker, bag label or original case for the country of origin.

December 30, 2019 - From the COR Detroit and confirmed by the Star-K:
NATURAL EARTH brand NORI SHEETS with a date code of 2019.03.28 have been found to have infestation concerns and have been recalled. All other lots of Natural Earth Nori remain Star-K certified when bearing the Star-K symbol.
