Marzano Spaghetti Sauce, Furmano Foods, Northunberland, PA has an unauthorized OU:
he Orthodox Union certifies Marzano Spaghetti Sauce as an OU pareve product. Some labels with an OU symbol were used for a spaghetti sauce that contains non-kosher beef. The labels for the kosher and non-kosher products look alike except for the ingredients statement. Consumers should look at the ingredients statement and verify whether or not beef is listed as an ingredient. If beef is listed, the product is not certified and bears an unauthorized OU symbol. If beef is not listed, then the product is certified. The product with the beef is being withdrawn from the marketplace.

Please be advised that a limited number of display cases for Klein’s Naturals Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds sold at Costco were mistakenly labeled with an OK P symbol.
Individual product bags are correctly labeled with a plain OK symbol, kosher pareve for year round use.
From the COR Detroit: In Pesach season this product is produced as Kosher for Pesach, and then bears OK-P on the individual bags.

POST HONEY BUNCHES OF OATS CEREALS in several varieties have changed from OU-D (dairy ingredient - whey) to plain OU (pareve), and many stores now have a mixture of older product with OU-D, and newer product with plain OU. Check each box carefully for its correct status.

Sprouts Unlimited of Marion IA is recalling clover spouts in 4 oz packages because it may be contaminated with Escherichia coli O103 bacteria (E. coli O103).
The affected batches of clover sprouts were distributed to Hy Vee Food stores, Fareway Food Stores and Jimmy John’s restaurants in Iowa.
The sprouts available at retail were packaged in in pint containers from Sprouts Unlimited Inc. with a blue label on the lid. The UPC code 7 32684 00013 6 is stamped on the bottom right side of the label.
If consumers have affected product in their home, they should discontinue use of the product immediately and return any product to the retail store for a full refund. If you have any questions, please call Bill Beach at Sprouts Unlimited Inc. at 319-360-4586.

Ruledin food importers Ltd. are announcing that following sampling due to a complaint made by the National Food Services of the Ministry of Health ofthe 18-gr chocolate flavored cream coated sweet waffle, manufactured by MHBH Turkey, and that is packaged in a 40 unit bundle, traces of milk protein have been found. The allergen information does not state milk ingredients,and so we have decided to collect the product mentioned above from the selling points.The expiry dates are:21/8/20, 22/8/20, 23/8/20.
Anyone who is known to be sensitive to dairy and/or the other allergens appearing on the label is requested not to consume the product.

Eilat Bakery, located at 5060 W Pico Blvd and 9060 W Pico Blvd, is selling products bearing an unauthorized Heart-K kosher symbol. This company and their products are NOT certified by OK Kosher Certification. Corrective actions are being taken.

Whole Foods Market is voluntarily recalling 365 Everyday Value Dark Chocolate Peppermint Sandwich Cremes and 365 Everyday Value Dark Chocolate Caramel Sea Salt Sandwich Cremes because the products may contain undeclared milk or tree nuts (coconut).
The affected products were sold at Whole Foods Market stores nationwide. The Dark Chocolate Peppermint Sandwich Cremes may contain milk that was not declared on the package label; the product can be identified by the UPC 9948247605 and best by dates through May 1, 2020. The Dark Chocolate Caramel Sea Salt Sandwich Cremes may contain milk or coconut that were not declared on the package label; the product can be identified by the UPC 9948247606 and best by dates through May 9, 2020. All affected product has been removed from store shelves. Two reactions have been reported to date.
Customers who purchased these products at Whole Foods Market can bring a valid receipt into stores for a full refund. Consumers with additional questions can call 1-844-936-8255 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday, or 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. CST Saturday through Sunday.
