Cornerstone Premium Foods of Syracuse, New York is recalling a specific lot of product containing frozen blackberries (noted below) due to the potential of being contaminated with Norovirus. FDA testing of frozen blackberries was reported to have tested positive for Norovirus.

"It has come to our attention that an illegal and unauthorized use of the kosher symbol has been used on PALERMO brand of Grapeseed Oil."
"We have not authorized this plant and have no knowledge or responsibility of the Kashrus statues of the said product."
"We are looking into legal and other options in order to assure that they cease to use the symbol and recall this product."
Alert reissued on November 29, 2016 by the editor in consultation with the Star-K since the products are still in stores. These products are being sold at Ocean State Job Lot.
The following kashrus alert is from the Star-K on December 30, 2015.
Please be advised that Cosmopolitan Food Group and all its brands, including Palermo, Milas, Casa di Oliva, Zayit, and Original Gourmet, has been terminated due to Kashrus violations. Consumers are advised not to use any of these products, even when bearing a Star-K, with the exception of unflavored olive oils.

"Products included in the recall include: parve vanilla ice cream, chocolate mini milk bar, yogurt ice cream and French vanilla ice cream products."
"The Felco Company, which distributes the Feldman ice cream line, announced: 'The company apologizes to its clients and invites anyone who purchased these products to bring them back to any company store'."
September 24, 2019 from FDA:
Weaver Fundraising, LLC (Indianapolis, IN) is voluntarily recalling 15 oz. tins containing Trail’s End Chocolatey Caramel Crunch because they may inadvertently contain almonds, cashews and pecans.
The recalled tins of Chocolatey Caramel Crunch were distributed to consumers through Boy Scout councils located in Houston, Texas and Corpus Christi, Texas beginning August 9, 2019. None of the product was distributed through retail stores.
The product is contained in an individual 15 oz. metallized bag within a tin bearing a label stating Trail’s End Chocolatey Caramel Crunch. The inner bag is stamped with the words “ACP CARAMEL”. Applicable labels are attached to this notice.
Consumers who have purchased the affected products are urged to discontinue consumption of the products and return any product to the place of purchase. Consumers with questions may contact Weaver Fundraising, LLC at support@trails-end.com.
