June 11, 2018 from Kosher Miami:
ffective Monday, June 11, BOL, located at 2530 NE 186th Street in North Miami Beach,
FL will be sold and under new ownership. Sunday, June 10 will be the last day of KM supervision for BOL.
It is our understanding that the new owners will be shutting it down for a few days, and then re-opening up under the name Carrot Express. This is significant because there are four other Carrot Express locations in Miami that are not kosher, and it is our understanding that this location will also not be kosher.
This is not to be confused with The Carrot, which is a KM kosher certified establishment in Surfside.
The location at 2530 NE 186th Street has had various kosher establishments there for many, many years, and therefore KM feels it important to alert the public to this significant change of ownership.
June 12, 2018 from Kosher Miami:
Please be advised that for business reasons, MEX Mexican Grill located at 16850 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, FL has decided to no longer operate as a kosher establishment.
The restaurant is not closing, it is remaining open, but effective today, June 11, it is not kosher certified by Kosher Miami.
