MADHAVA Natural Sweeteners Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Milk in its 13.8 oz. MMM... Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix

Madhava Natural Sweeteners of LONGMONT, CO is recalling its 13.8 oz. box of MMM... Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix because it may contain undeclared milk.
The recall applies to all units of their MMM Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix. A 13.8 oz. packages with the item UPC of 0 78314 25105 0. Product has been distributed nationally through retail channels.
The recall was initiated by Madhava Natural Sweeteners after it was discovered that one ingredient in the chocolate chips may include a milk product.
Consumers who have purchased MMM... Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Flowers Foods Adds Allergen Advisory

"Flowers Foods is adding the allergen advisory statement – 'Manufactured on shared equipment that also processes products containing tree nuts and peanuts' – to the packaging of brownies, sandwich creme cookies, cereal bars, and snack cakes/cookies sold under the Mrs. Freshley’s, Tastykake, Mountain Farms, and private label brands. Packaging with this voluntary advisory statement will begin appearing on store shelves Summer of 2017. These products will be made at a bakery that will be producing items containing tree nuts and peanuts."

Smoked Salmon Poke Bowls are being sold in the kosher section of some Costco's (such as Dedham, MA). This product is not certified as kosher and says the following on the package: "Rice included is not certified Kosher".

June 16, 2017 - from the cRc:

Please note that Great Value Sprinkles Candy Coated Flavored Chocolate Chips, distributed by Walmart, incorrectly states on the panel ingredients "milk." The product has no milk ingredients, but one of its ingredients is made on Dairy Equipment. The product bears the plain cRc logo without a D or D.E. next to the logo. Corrective action has been taken.
