March 31, 2016: From the OK Kosher Certification:
Please be advised that Wellsley Farms 9" Chocolate Cream Cheese Cake, 9" Cookies and Cream Cake, and 9" Raspberry Cream Cheese Cake were mistakenly labeled with the OK kosher symbol and not the OKD kosher symbol. These products contain dairy ingredients as stipulated in the ingredient and allergen panels. These products are DAIRY.
Corrective action has been taken.

This voluntary recall covers only specific production codes of the following product:

Consumers who may have purchased the product listed above should not consume it but should contact Consumer Affairs for a full refund online at www.emeraldnuts.com/contact-emerald or by calling 503-364-0399 between 8am and 5pm Pacific Time, Monday – Friday.
The voluntary recall is limited to the production codes listed below. To locate the production code on the carton or inner package, consumers should look next to the nutrition facts panel. No other production codes, sizes or varieties of Emerald products are affected by this recall.

Alimentos Congelados, S.A. (Pinula) is voluntarily recalling 1,800 cases of Frozen Broccoli Cuts because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria Monocytogenes.
The Frozen Broccoli Cuts were distributed to stores in the following states: Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and North Carolina.

Effective April 1st, 2016 the following Honest Kids brand beverages produced by Honest Tea will contain non-certified grape juice:
April 1, 2016: From the BVK (Buffalo Vaad HaKashrut):
All Cava brand 'Kalamata Hummus' is mistakenly marked with a BVK. This product is not certified by the BVK and is made with ingredients that need to be verified. Anyone with this product should discontinue its use and dispose of it.
April 1, 2016 From the Star-K:
Please note the following about the Bosch HBLP651LUC, HBLP651RUC, and HBLP651UC built-in double ovens. There is a problem with the Sabbath Mode in the lower oven only. The upper oven works correctly in Sabbath Mode.
Please contact bosch-usa-questions@bshg.com or call Bosch customer service at 800-944-2904 if you own one of these models. Please provide your name, phone number, and email address, so that the company can coordinate service. Bosch will schedule a service appointment to repair the affected models free of charge. The manufacturer is working on a fix. Updates will be posted on our website.
March 17, 2016: From the Star-K: Please note the following about the Bosch HGI8054UC and HGIP054UC models of slide-in gas ranges: The oven’s heating source shuts off immediately when the door is opened and re-ignites when it is closed, even when the oven is in Sabbath Mode.
Consumers are advised not to open or close the oven door on Shabbos or YomTov while the oven is on.

Please be advised that Barzini's supermarket, located at 2451 Broadway, New York, NY, has been sellling non-kosher products labeled Star-K kosher with Barzini's brand name. Star-K has not certified this store, and the labels are unauthorized. Star-K has taken corrective action.
March 30, 2016: From the Kof-k:
Please note that Sugarfina brand Martini Olive Almonds were mistakenly labeled as Parve and in fact, as per the ingredient legend, are dairy. The company is initiating a recall of the effected product and all future labels will correctly indicate the item is certified KOF-K Dairy. For any questions, please contact the KOF-K at 201 837 1967.

STAR-K is happy to announce that ALL Alpine Valley Bread products baked after 3/16/2016 are certified pas yisroel. Products with the number Q076 or higher on the plastic bag fastener were baked after 3/16/2016
