Perfection Bakeries D/B/A Aunt Millie’s of Fort Wayne, IN. is recalling 8 ct. packages of Our Family® White Hot Dog Buns because they may contain undeclared sesame. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sesame run the risk of serious or life- threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The recalled “Our Family Hot Dog Buns 8 ct.” were distributed in retail stores in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois.
The product comes in a printed plastic package marked with “Our Family Hot Dog Buns 8 ct.” on the top and has a blue twist tie. The product UPC is 0-70253-75107-3, and include Best By Dates 4-9-2023 and earlier. One reaction has been reported to date in connection with this recall.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered the sesame-containing product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of sesame. Production of the product has been suspended until the FDA and Aunt Millie’s complete their investigation and are certain the market has been cleared of any incorrect packaging.
Consumers who have purchased "Our Family Hot Dog Buns 8 ct." are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Any consumer who believes they are experiencing symptoms of an allergic reaction should seek immediate medical attention. Second Nature Brands of Madison Heights, MI, is recalling its 4-ounce packages of Gluten Free Reese’s Pieces Brownie Brittle because they may contain undeclared wheat.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The recalled Gluten Free Reese’s Pieces Brownie Brittle were distributed nationwide in retail stores and through online orders.
The product comes in a 4-ounce pouch UPC 711747011562 marked with lot codes SG 1054 15/NOV/2023 1S and SG 1054 15/NOV/2023 2S on the backside of pouch.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the gluten-containing product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of wheat. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by cross-contamination at a co-manufacturer, resulting in undeclared wheat in the product.
Consumers who have purchased 4-ounce packages of Gluten Free Reese’s Pieces Brownie Brittle with lot codes SG 1054 15/NOV/2023 1S and SG 1054 15/NOV/2023 2S should not consume the product and should contact Brownie Brittle for a full refund.

March 14, 2023 from the FDA:
Clio Snacks of Piscataway, N.J. is voluntarily recalling 581 cases of its Strawberry Granola & Greek Yogurt Parfait Bar due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.
Product was distributed to select Walmart stores between 3/5/2023 and 3/8/2023.
The impacted product comes in a single-serving box with UPC Code 854021008152, Lot Number 048C2023 and an expiration date of 4/30/2023 stamped on the side of the box.
Strawberry Granola & Greek Yogurt Parfait Bar is the only product impacted. No other products are being recalled. No illnesses have been reported to date.
This potential limited exposure was found at a third-party manufacturer’s facility where Parfait Bars are produced. The third-party manufacturer does not manufacture any other Clio products. Clio does not manufacture Parfait bars at its own facility.
The recall was the result of a routine testing program by the company which revealed that affected Strawberry Parfait product produced by Clio’s contract manufacturer may contain Listeria monocytogenes. The third-party manufacturer has ceased production and Clio has ceased distribution of the affected product while the FDA and the company continue their investigation into what caused the problem. who have purchased Clio Strawberry Granola & Yogurt Parfait bar with an expiration date of 4/30/2023 should not consume the product and are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or to destroy the recalled product.

Kosher and non-kosher in the same package. Two of the varieties of cheese are kosher and bear the OU. One variety is not kosher and does not bear the OU. The outer box does not bear an OU. Consumers should not assume kosher certification of all the varieties because they are contained in the same gift box. Consumers are urged to always check for a kosher symbol. This product is sold in Costco.
