Consumers should be careful to look for the OU mark to make sure that a product is certified by the Orthodox Union. A company may have some products certified and others that are not. For example, Impossible Food Inc. has beef patties certified kosher but not chicken and meatballs.

"Osem has announced the recall of some packages of the beloved Bamba peanut-flavored snack, warning they may contain “foreign substances.”
"Osem said the suspected substances are actually part of the snack packaging and were entered into the snack as a result of a “malfunction.”
"The recall applies to four-packs of 60-gram bags of Bamba, which have the barcode number 7290001302279 with an expiration date of March 5, 2023."
