September 28, 2022 from the cRc:
The cRc is proud to announce that starting in 5783, all cRc Restaurants will be fully Pas Yisroel with the exception of franchise establishments (such as Dunkin Donuts, Graeter's Ice Cream, Rita’s and Cinnaholic). (Please note that the bagels in the cRc-certified Dunkin Donuts are Pas Yisroel.) We thank our certified restaurants for doing their utmost to enhance kashrus for the entire city.
During the Aseres Yemei Teshuvah, the days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, it is the accepted custom to only consume Pas Yisroel products, such as bread, cakes and cookies. In fact, some have this custom year-round, or on Shabbos and Yom Tov (see Mishnah Berurah 242:6). As we approach the Aseres Yemei Teshuvah, many consumers turn to the cRc requesting guidance about Pas Yisroel in cRc establishments and certified products.

KROGER, MEIJER and GREAT VALUE [Walmart] brands of PRETZELS that previously had a plain OK symbol, including Pretzel Sticks, Pretzel Rods and Pretzel Mini Twists, are now changing to an OK-D symbol due to dairy equipment, and should not be eaten together with meat. Packages that still bear a plain OK symbol are pareve. Several other store brands of OK certified pretzels (e.g., Clancy’s at Aldi) will also be changing status. Check each bag. (Note: These pretzels are not Pas Yisroel.)
March 14, 2022 and March 18, 2022 from the OK in response to a question from the editor:
Walmart Pretzel Mini Twists, Pretzel Rods, Pretzel Sticks, Pretzel Salty Sticks, Pretzel Nuggets Sourdough, and Pretzel Twists are changing from pareve to DE (labeled with the OK D symbol). All packaging with the OK symbol are still pareve.
From the OK, the status can change to dairy without notification (since the product is already approved as dairy. The consumer should check with the OK office every few months to reconfirm the DE status of this product.
The pretzels will be DE and labeled with the OKD symbol.
September 20, 2022 from the COR Detroit:
SUPER K FORTUNE COOKIES from KARI-OUT COMPANY, White Plains, NY, are Kosher only when bearing the OU symbol on the case and also on each individually wrapped cookie. Cases not bearing the OU, and cookies not bearing the OU on their individual wrapper, were produced by a non-certified supplier. Some cases bearing an OU were found to mistakenly contain some non-certified cookies mixed in that did not bear an OU. Check each wrapper. (Note: These cookies are not Pas Yisroel.)
