The Orthodox Union certifies Old Vienna of St. Louis Honey BBQ Ranch Flavored Potato Chips as an OU D - Dairy product. Some 2.5 oz. bags were printed with an OU mark, without the D - Dairy designation. This products contains dairy as indicated in the ingredients and allergens statements. Corrective actions are being implemented.

January 22, 2024, February 1, 2024 from the CRC:

The cRc does not certify Premoli Dressing as kosher. There are several dressings being sold with the cRc Kosher logo, including Greek Original, Lively Lemon, Tangy Balsamic, and Sweet Basil. All these contain red wine and balsamic vinegar which most likely are not kosher. There are many stores selling these products, including HarvesTime Foods, 2632 W Lawrence Ave., Chicago, IL 60625. Corrective action has been taken. Please contact the cRc (info@crckosher.org) if you come across these products in other stores.

Mott’s Clamato Original and Mott’s Clamato Extra Spicy in 213 ml cans, sold in Canada, have been mislabeled with an OK symbol.
These products are not kosher.
Corrective actions are being taken.

January 30, 2024 from the FDA:

Byrne Dairy, Inc. of Syracuse, New York is voluntarily recalling its Byrne Dairy Mighty Fine Chocolate Ice Cream in half gallon cartons with a Last Date of Sale of 10/4/2024 because it may contain undeclared peanuts.

Product was distributed in retail stores throughout Upstate New York.

The product is packaged in ½ gallon cardboard containers printed with ‘Byrne Dairy Might Fine Chocolate Ice Cream’ with ‘Last Date of Sale: 10/4/2024’ printed on the side of the container. The recall involves no more than 250 half gallon units.

The recall was initiated as a result of a consumer complaint that product containing peanut butter was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of peanuts due to mislabeling of the product. As a result of a manufacturing error, the Chocolate Ice Cream may also contain peanut butter.

Consumers who have purchased the affected products are urged not to consume the product and dispose of it or return it to their place of purchase for a full refund. January 25, 2023 from the FDA:

Utz Quality Foods, LLC., is issuing a voluntary recall for 88 cases of Utz® 2.75 oz. Wavy Original Potato Chips due to an undeclared milk allergen. This recall was initiated after Utz learned that approximately 1200 single-serve bags contained Utz® Wavy Original Potato Chips flavored with seasoning instead of plain Utz® Wavy Original Potato Chips.

The items subject to this voluntary recall were distributed to retail outlets only in New York State and primarily within New York City.

The items and related expiration dates being voluntarily recalled include:

Consumers with a milk allergy should NOT eat the products subject to this voluntary recall. Consumers who purchased the recalled product may discard it and contact the Utz Customer Care team for a refund (Email: customerservice@utzsnacks.com, Phone: 1-800-367-7629 Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time). Retailers should check their inventories and shelves to confirm that none of the products are present or available for purchase by consumers.
