The following information was received in a fax from the Vaad Hoeir of St. Louis on March 13, 1997.

Boxes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch (General Mills, Inc.) have been found with a sticker covering the OUD while some boxes contain no sticker and no OUD at all. This is because of the non-kosher promotion found in the package. OU policy prohibits the use of the OU if the box contains a non-kosher item, even if the item does not come in contact with the actual product.
