FSAI found traces of horse DNA and/or pig DNA in burgers on sale in some of the Ireland's busiest supermarkets. One sample of burger goods, Tesco Everyday Value Beef Burgers, showed about 29% horse meat relative to beef content. The Food Safety Authority of Ireland also said Tuesday that it had found traces of pig DNA in 85 percent of the burger products it tested in Irish supermarkets.
