"adatz Mehadrin, the hashgacha of Rabbi Avraham Rubin Shlita, alerts consumers that while during the year, Strauss brand cottage cheese is under its hashgacha and is mehadrin, this is not the case on Pesach as the product contains kitnios."
This is especially important for many if not most consumers would not think to check for kitnios in cottage cheese."
