Passover Kashrut Alerts

The following Israeli Passover alert was from the Rabbanut of B'nei Brak on March 21, 2002.

THIS IS AN ISRAELI PASSOVER ALERT

BADATZ issued a statement that Salit Salt labeled Kosher for Passover from this year only is NOT. After processing their salt for Pessach, they found that the machine had been used just previously to process flour. They processed a new batch of salt and it is labeled in Hebrew Kasher le'pesach yetzur meyuchad.
