Passover Kashrut Alerts

The following Passover alert is from the Chicago Rabbinical Council on March 16, 2012.

The Passover Shopping Guide had listed baby powder as being acceptable for Pesach without any Passover certification. We have now discovered that some baby powders may contain oat flour. As such, baby powders are only acceptable if they only contain talc, talcum powder, corn starch, or other innocuous ingredients.
Ed. note: < a href="/Passover/cosmetics">www.kashrut.com/Passover/cosmetics is a list of chometz ingredients in toiletries.
