Please be advised that due to recent updated information Revlon Custom Eye Mascara-non waterproof listed as permissible in the 2011 "Laws Of Pesach: A Digest". on page 334, contains chometz and should not be used on Pesach.

The following Mexican Passover alert from KMD Mexico on April 6, , 2011.

Naguila products that have on their label "Kosher le Pesach" are not kosher for Passover. Only products that come with the special label KMD with the words: "Special Kosher Le' Pesach product" are certified for Pesach.

The following Passover information is from the Atlanta Kashruth Commission on April 5, 2011.

Kroger Brand unflavored milk (Homogenized (whole) milk, 2%, 1%, Skim milk) bearing plant #13-250, the letters "AKC-P" on the inkjet of the container and bearing an expiration date between April 16 - May 2 is kosher for Passover.

The following Canadian health alert is from the CFIA and the MK on April 4, 2011.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Amira Enterprises Inc. are warning the public not to consume certain bulk and prepackaged raw shelled walnut products described below because these products may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7.
All raw shelled walnuts sold from bulk bins, all package sizes and all lot codes / Best Before dates of the following raw shelled walnuts and products containing walnuts are affected by this alert. The affected products were available for purchase from January 1, 2011, up to and including April 4, 2011. The raw shelled walnuts are imported from the USA. This also affects products bearing the MK Pesach label.

*The brand name Amira may not be marked on the raw walnuts sold from the bulk bins. Consumers who have purchased walnuts from bulk bins are advised to contact the retailer to determine if they have the affected product. These products have been distributed in Atlantic Canada, Quebec, and Ontario. However, they may have been distributed nationally.

  • The following Passover advisory is from the OU on March 31, 2011.

    Aqua Farms Premium Atlantic Salmon, Good Food S.A, Santiago, Chile: This product was included in the OU Passover Directory as acceptable for Passover without special certification. The salmon is acceptable for Passover. The enclosed salmon seasoning packet contains kitniyot and shouldn't be used on Passover.

    The following Passover advisory is from the OU on March 31, 2011.

    Kurson Kosher Egg Matza for Passover, Kurson Kosher, Mexico is certified as Kosher for Passover by the Orthodox Union, however, the label should state "According to Ashkenazi practice, egg matza may only be used for the aged and sick" Corrective measures are being implemented.

    Coke Cans are not being certified for Pesach this year.
    2 liter bottles of Regular and Diet Coke that are certified for Passover will bear yellow caps.

    The following kashrus alert and information is from the Star-K on March 30, 2011.

    FRESH EXPRESS bagged salads must bear a Star-K P to be considered kosher for Passover.

    Dole vegatable and fruit products and River Ranch (store brands) prepackaged salads with a Star-K are usable for Passover without the P.
