The following revised Passover alert is from the Kof-K on March 28, 2010.
A production of Kosher for Passover 12oz cans and 1 liter bottles of Canada Dry Ginger Ale and Dr Brown's Black Cherry Soda included high fructose corn syrup in the ingredient legend. The products were manufatured with kosher for passover invert syrup under constant rabbinical supervision and are certified kosher for passover by the KOF-K. Most fo the cans indicate on the bottom "MADE WITH SUGAR".
The following Israeli Passover alert is from the Israeli Chief Rabbinate and translated by Jerusalem Kosher News on March 23, 2010.
The Israeli Chief Rabbinate announced that the following shmura matzos list fraudulent rabbinic supvision and are not kosher for Passover.
Ed. note: A correction to the previous alert from the Chief Rabbinate (translated by : Beit Issie Shapiro is not in any way connected to the fraudulent matzot as was reported in the earlier bulletin and the fact the institute's name appears on those matzot appears to be from the fact those responsible copied boxes from earlier years.

Trader Joes Quinoa is useable for Passover when bearing a Half-Moon K or Star-K. Trader Joes Quinoa in West Cost stores is from a different company. This is an OU certified plant that also does chometz. The West Coast Trader Joes Quinoa package is shown here. This package also bears a wheat allergen notice.
Ed. note: A small amount Trader Joes Quinoa in Midwest and East Coast bears an OU. This product does not bear any allergin notice.
The following Passover notice is from the Streit's on March 22, 2010.
Plain Streit's quinoa with the code of PD 34809 is kosher for Passover even without Passover certification (for people who eat kitniot). Other codes are not kosher for Passover.
The following Passover alert is from the Star-K on March 26, 2010.
Various varieties of Ungers peppers were mislabeled with packaging stating that it may be used for Passover. The vinegar is kitniyos and the peppers are not kosher for Passover.

The correct information is as follows: Metamucil Wafers are chometz and should not be consumed on Pesach. Please note that the all Metamucil powders are chometz free as listed in the guide and the Metamucil Original texture is also Kitniyos Free.
