The following information was received from the Orthodox Union on Dec. 2, 1999.

Effective immediately Derco Raisins, Dates and Nuts are no longer certified by the Orthodox Union. Due to Kashrus violations, the Orthodox Union cannot guarantee the kashrus of any Derco products bearing the OU symbol.
