The following kashrus Alert was received from the Organized Kashruth Laboratory on November 8, 2001.

Please be advised that as of September 20th, 2001 Citric Acid produced by Sacromiles S.A. Cali, Colombia, Division of Tate and Lyle, is no longer being produced only from sugar. The citric acid is now being produced from a mixture of sugar and corn syrup. Each bag of citric acid has a production date on it and is easily identified. All citric acid produced prior to September 20th was produced only from cane sugar.
