September 19, 2017 from the COR Detroit:
Consumers should be aware that many drinks at Starbucks are not acceptable, due to Kashrus issues with either their ingredients or with the equipment used in their preparation. Even a seemingly innocent item such as a plain black coffee is problematic in a full-service store, because the coffee-making utensils may be washed together with non-Kosher dishes.
The cRc and the Star-K have thoroughly researched these issues, and have compiled guides to recommended and non-recommended Starbucks drinks. They are available at www.crcweb.org/starbucks_overview.php and at www.star-k.org/articles/kosher-lists/1709/starbucks. Only drinks listed as recommended should be purchased.
