The Holiday Kosher Baker: Traditional & Contemporary Holiday Desserts by Paula Shoyer.

The Holiday Kosher Baker is a Jewish holiday cookbook. The recipes are organized by the Jewish holiday. The cookbook is designed to designed to provide recipes that serve communities with different needs including healthy, gluten-free, sugar-free and people looking to make fancy desserts.

Each recipe in the cookbook lists what type of recipe it is at the top. The level of difficulty is also listed. There are clear directions and pictures of intermediate steps and the final product. Relevant tips are included such as as to what type of pan to use, or how to tell if the cookies are done.

Most of the recipes are pareve (dairy-free). Dairy recipes are included in the Shavuos section .The Passover section is extensive and includes types of pans needed. A section on ingredients including which standard everyday ones are not available and tips for Passover baking. Gebrucks and non-gebrucks recipes are included.

The Holiday Kosher Baker by Paula Shoyer is a good all-around cookbook provides recipes for both the beginner and advanced baker and is a good resource to have around.
