Some King Soopers Bread without Scroll-K Certification

All the previously named P$$$t brand items were recently re-branded Good to Dough. The Good to Dough White Bread, Wheat Bread, Hot Dog Buns, Hamburger Buns are usually made with The Scroll K supervision & labeled as such.
Currently, due to some production difficulties, the White Bread, Wheat Bread, Hot Dog Buns, Hamburger Buns will be produced with the Kroger brand in another facility without supervision, and they will not bear any certification. Please
check all products for certification. Please call the Scroll K at 303-595-9349 for any needed clarification.

Talking Rain® Voluntarily Recalls Sparkling Ice® Cherry Limeade in Response to Customer Complaints

June 28, 2018 - FDA:

Talking Rain® (the Company) is voluntarily recalling specific lot codes of bottles of its Sparkling Ice® Cherry Limeade beverage in response to a small number of customer complaints that reported an off-taste and off-odor of the affected product. The Company made the decision to recall the product out of an abundance of caution. No other Sparkling Ice products are affected by this recall.
The Sparkling Ice Cherry Limeade product subject to recall was produced only at one of the Company’s facilities that make this product. The product comes in a 17 ounce clear plastic bottle under the name Sparkling Ice Cherry Limeade. The product is sold as a single item, as well as in multipacks of the affected product and in multipacks containing a variety of other unaffected flavors. The product subject to recall can be identified by the following information that is displayed on the neck of the bottle. All other products made by the Company are not part of this voluntary recall.

Now Health Group Inc. Recalls Select Now Real Food® Zesty Sprouting Mix Because of Possible Health Risk

June 21, 2018 - FDA:

NOW Health Group, Inc. (NOW), of Bloomingdale, Illinois, is recalling its NOW Real Food® Zesty Sprouting Mix – Product Code 7271, Lot #3031259 and Lot #3038165 – because its primary ingredient, Crimson Clover Seeds, has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
Approximately 10,000 units of Zesty Sprouting Mix were distributed online and in retail stores nationwide since December 2017.

Evidence of potential contamination was implicated in ongoing FDA and CDC investigations into multistate outbreaks of Salmonella infections, of which the clover seed supplier was notified.

NOW has provided information on this recall to all its retailers who purchased this product and has encouraged retailers to make every effort to contact their customers to facilitate the return of affected products.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled Zesty Sprouting Mix should stop using the product immediately and return it to place of purchase for a full refund. Receipt is not required for refund.

Agri Star Meat And Poultry LLC Recalls Beef Pastrami Products due to Possible Processing Deviation
Aaron’s Beef French Roast Pastrami & Shor Harbor and Roast Pastrami recall

June 21, 2018: from USDA:

Agri Star Meat and Poultry LLC, a Postville, Iowa establishment, is recalling approximately 3,592 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) beef pastrami products due to processing deviations that may have led to underprocessing of products and resulted in inadequate curing, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

The RTE beef pastrami items were produced on April 3 and April 4, 2018. The following products are subject to recall: [View Labels (PDF only)]


The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 4653A” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to distributors in California, Florida, Illinois, New York and Washington.

The problem was discovered on June 20, 2018, after the firm received a consumer complaint about product discoloration. The firm conducted an investigation and product testing and determined that not all products contained an adequate amount of the curing solution. The establishment notified FSIS on June 21, 2018.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.

Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify recalling firms notify their customers of the recall and that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to consumers. C
